Minnesota Gov Appoints Former Planned Parenthood VP to Franken’s Seat

Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton (D) announced Wednesday he will appoint Lt. Gov. Tina Smith – a former Planned Parenthood vice president – to replace Sen. Al Franken who has resigned over sexual misconduct allegations.
